A little out of sequence do to using wyfii hotspots when available to upload pictures to photobucket.
We have traveled through western Montana the last two days and so far it gets my vote for best secenery, long views and history that can be touched. Wildlife is pretty good also. Last night at dusk, dixie dog alerted us to a large doe and her fawn across the creek about 50 feet from us. Took aseries of low light pictures and will try to enhance one for publication. In the morning I opened the door on the rv and two mallard ducks flew out of the creek about 30 feet away. The campground was a state facility built on the location of a gold mining city that was active in 1880. The surronding land was public and provided an oppertuinity for a group of about 5 families with 4-wheelers to expore the country side within several miles of the camp.
The ride over here to west yellowstone had two herds of antlelope, several deer, a couple of red foxes and lots of canada geese and duck deciding when to head south.
We said when we startedthat we come south before the frost. Tonight the weather forecast is for 29 degrees.2-3 days from now it will be due south to salt lake city and beyond. We intend to come south on the westen side of the Rockie and turn east around roswell, area 51
Pictures will be coming

When you get to Roswell be sure to take the time to tell my friend, ET, I said hello. We still love Roswell...it doesn't look like much, but it was a good village. I was the manager of the Air Traffic Control facility at the airport (formally Walker Air Force Base) there from 1983 until 1987. I used to sit in my office bored stiff and would look at the mountains around Ruidosa and suffer. Occassionally I would take annual leave, grab my fishing gear and head to Bonita Lake for a few rainbow trout for dinner.
By the way, Steve and Patty Miller are in Ruidosa. Steve teaches at the Eastern New Mexico State University remote campus there.
Bunble up and bring some of that coolness and if able a little moisture this way. Take care. |

| It requires a security clearance to approach that area. I would give you the information, but I don't want to see you shot or abducted. |
