Kayaking The Gulf Coast Kayaking has quickly become and is continuing to grow in the gulf coast region. It is an excellent way to: fish extremely shallow water, bird watch, relax, and just get away from all the noise.
I have been in the kayak scene for about 8 years. Yaking lots of locations including: Light House Lakes, Brown and Root Flats, Little Bay, Estes Flats, Copano Bay, Cedar Bayou, Mud Island, and St. Joe, just to name a few. I am also a Heritage Endorsed Kayak Guide Depending on the best opertunity to catch fish I provide two types of kayak trips. The first type we trailer over to a launch point, paddle and fish/ tour, and then paddle back to the launch point. The second type we will get away from the roads. The kayaks will be loaded in to the skiff (aka-mothershiping) and we will motor to a more secluded area. We can do morning, mid-day,and evening trips. 1/2 day trips and full day trips.. Pricing- 300$1/2day /400$full day for 2 persons(includes Kayaks and Gear. 50$ for each additional kayaker up to 6. If your are a signle kayaker(trip for One) please call for a price. All trips can be tailored to your needs and wants. I have taken kids out as young as 11 and adults as mature as 87. Most trips we use artificial lures but bait can be taken if you so desire. I enjoy throwing topwaters and tails, but shrimp can be fun as well. Light House Lakes Map.From Texas Parks and Wildlife Please Email me with your questions. Thanks. | |||||
